Next Steps - Surveys

Now that the campaign is over Kickstarter will process cards, and that can take up to ten (10) days to allow for card errors. While that process cooks, I'll be building the Pledge Manager page over at Backer Kit, where I'll handle fulfillment and surveys.

I used Backer Kit for the Queen of Mars Hardcover, and it was great experience to keep track of everything AND it automatically fulfills digital rewards, so you'll get your PDFs quickly.

Next Steps - Death and Throxus: The Book

I have four pages left to ink on D&T, which sure enough are the same four pages I had to ink before the Thanksgiving break. I'm doing a bit of a rewrite on the end while I work through other corrections in the book and that should all be wrapping up in the next couple weeks.

Then off to the printer mid-December, most likely books back mid to late January, and I'll start shipping them out. I'm using the same printer as previous issues of QoM and have had few problems with them, so I'm expect rewards to go out quickly after I receive the books.

Next Steps - Original Art

While everyone will be waiting for the surveys, not everyone will be waiting to hear from me. For those of you receiving orginal art as part of your reward, I'll be in contact with this this week. Both through messages here on Kickstarter, and reaching out through e-mail, to get details on your commissioned pieces.

Sketch covers will obviously wait, but I'll get started on backing-board and 11x17s when I hear from you. 

Most requests are honored, but if there are any questions/concerns we can talk about it.

Again, thank you so much for supporting Death and Throxus! It's been a fun to book to draw, and is always a pleasure spending time on Barsoom. I hope you enjoy it as much as earlier entries in the series, and are looking forward to the next chapter of Queen of Mars!

Add-ons

First up, I've created add-ons for the Death and Throxus books, so if you're looking to add additional covers onto your pledge you now can.

Previous Issue Covers

There was a question about previous campaign covers, and those will not be available during the campaign, they'll be made available after, through the pledge manager. Due to limited stock on some covers, it will be easier to track and manage through the Pledge Manager.

After the campaign wraps up we'll be headed over to BackerKit to use their pledge manager services. I used BackerKit after the Queen of Mars Hardcover Kickstarter, and it was an all-around great experience, so I'll be utilizing that again. Additional covers and other items will find their way over there.

Record Breaking First Day

WOW. What a day 1. Thank you everyone for showing up first day, it's done much better than I was hoping for or even planning on. 

It's pretty thrilling to be back on Mars, and I'm over both the moons of Barsoom that you're along for the ride. 

I'll be back with a longer update tomorrow, but I didn't want the first day to pass without saying thank you!
