The next book in Phaidor's saga to save a dying world is titled 'Heart of Mars' and sees the Queen of Therns journey deep into an unknown world. Joined by her princess, Isdar, and other companions, Phaidor is searching for a new land for the people of dying Barsoom to call home. But once she's found this new refuge, can she tame it?
Queen of Mars 04 is an all-new 48 page, B&W NSFW magazine adventure. Written, drawn, and lettered by Mick Beyers, with a variant cover by Jarbas Nogueira.

In addition to the brand new adventure, lots of other rewards are on offer. Original art, original pages, extra books from the McComics library and more are available during the campaign.

I'm gonna be all over Kickstarter in March, with three projects going live, and the first of these, launching today is Mercy: In Prison!
Written by Steven Prince (MONSTER MATADOR), with art by Mick Beyers (QUEEN OF MARS) and colors by Alex Zief (MONSTER MATADOR, CARMILLA). The 24 Page one shot, MERCY: IN PRISON journeys back to 1975 and follows MERCY HANSEN, a happy-go-lucky farm girl from Wisconsin who gets sent to a Philippines prison after getting caught with a brick of China White in her travel bag. Of course, she didn't put it there. That darn English prick Richard Hawthorne III did and she wants to get out of prison to get her revenge. Only problem is that she's not the only one out for revenge... and she'll be lucky to survive!
I've drawn two versions of the cover (SFW and NSFW) and the really cool part is they'll be a lenticular version of the book where you can get both versions of my cover in one book! It's a really fun effect.
Also available are great covers from Andrea Dailey, Suspiria, and the man himself, Steven Prince (with the original art for that cover available.)

Packages Shipping Out!
With Winter break almost very nearly over (the kid goes back to college this weekend) I'll be working a little this week, but mostly next, on getting shipments put together and out the door.
There are only a few people who have yet to respond to the survey, so if that's you, please head over to BackerKit to get it taken care of.
Minus a few of the bigger art rewards, everything should be in the mail by the end of next week.

Digital files were sent out today! Check your email, Inbox, Junk, Spam, Promotion, Social, all the places. Digital rewards are distributed by BackerKit and I'd had issues with those being filtered to out of the way boxes.
Please let me know if you can't find them, and I'll get replacements sent.

Proofs were approved earlier this week, so looking to have them in hand early January. I'll get them checked for quality and errors, and start shipping them out.

Quick check-in with a couple newsworthy items.
The smoke test went out from BackerKit today, and barring any problems with that, all surveys will be going out tomorrow or the day after. (Wednesday/Thursday) Look for an email from Backer Kit about your survey, and if you don't see it this week don't forget to check junk or spam folders.
The book is getting its final proof-reading and should be off to the printer this week as well. The printer I'm going with has been pretty quick on turnaround, but books most likely won't be going out until mid-January.
